Lowrance is well known for its broad range of marine electronics. The brand is a favorite among those shopping online for discount marine electronics. In particular, Lowrance offers a full range of fish finders in sizes suitable for all types of boats and priced to accommodate any budget.

The newest addition to the Lowrance line of marine electronics is a line of high definition fishfinders with crystal clear picture and built-in expandability. These gadgets offer outstanding performance in both shallow deep waters.

The Lowrance HDS-10 is a multifunction fish finder and chart plotter with 83/200 KHz transducer. This combo fish finder and chart plotter has a 10.4 inch super VGA display with wide angle viewing and exceptional detail to help you pinpoint fish with ease on its bright, clean display even in the brightest sunlight.

The Lowrance HDS-10 multifunction fish finder and chart plotter features a built-in Broadband Sounder that can give you up to a 120 degree viewing angle. Exceptional clarity allows you to distinguish between structures, thermoclines, clutter and fish targets with precision and confidence.  The Lowrance HDS-10 is an outstanding example of how far marine electronics have progressed in recent years. The improved identification algorithms can distinguish between rock piles, stump beds, channels, drop-offs, submerged timber and a whole lot more. What’s more, with the fish finder’s 8x zoom capability, the Lowrance HDS-10 can do all that as you navigate tricky waters in any weather or at high speed.

You won’t be losing any of the newest features in chart plotter technology either. The Lowrance HDS-10 fish finder and chart plotter multifunction system has a high sensitivity GPS antenna that is NMEA 2000 network capable and finds and locks the GPS signal with superior speed and performance.  You can also upgrade with optional external GPS antennas. Basemaps featured with this model include over 100,000 searchable lakes and accurate coastline details for over 4,000 lakes and coastal shorelines. The HDS-10 also supports plug and play Navionics®, including Platinum Plus, Platinum and Platinum Hot Maps, LakeMaster® ProMaps, Fishing Hot Spots® PRO, NauticPath™ offshore/coastal maps, FreedomMaps™ and MapCreate USA Series 7.

This and other new models in the Lowrance range of fish finders come equipped with a new  FlyWheel™ dial that makes it super easy to fine-tune your fish finding features for superior performance under current conditions. You will also find the new touch soft keyboard layout intuitive to use and the waterproof memory card slots and high speed flash memory make it a snap to load and save charts, maps and GPS data.

Lowrance also offers a full line of compact fish finders including portable units with your choice of color or monochrome displays and dual frequency sonar fish finders offering frequency ranges from 83 to 200 KHz. The Lowrance range of full size sonar-only fish finders are a good choice for those who don’t need additional chart plotting or GPS functionality and offer up to 4000 watts of power with dual frequency capability and 5 inch screen.
